Cassie nearly dies after bleeding to death. Violence: 5/5 Gunshots and explosions are described in graphic details, down to the sizes of the holes to the agony that follows. Models: 3/5 Faithful siblings, working hard, attempts to trust. It was an intense book I didn't want to put down, so two thumbs up for that. This book features an amazing cast of characters, but the violence, language, and sexual factors almost made it hard to read. So if the world ends make sure to have theses books with you.
#THE 5TH WAVE SERIES HOW TO#
Oh and almost forgot for the educational values you actually do learn a lot about how to survive. I'm one of those people who hate romance books especially the ones that go to far in the romance department, but I overlooked all of it and I'm happy I did because I loved these books SO MUCH! But seriously don't read it until you're 14 or older. It kept the books interesting and made me not want to put them down.
#THE 5TH WAVE SERIES SERIES#
There is much violence in all of the books in the 5th wave series but I kind of enjoyed it. But I'm not going to say which character. It is not described, the chapter just ends with the kissing. And since you are thinking of reading this book that means that if you do then you are going to read the whole series so to just get it out there a main character does do you know what in the infinite sea. I hated this part so much I blanked it all out with a black marker. But the whole time he is saying things like asking what she thinks of his bottom. At one point Evan is injured in the bottom area and she has to check it out and bandage it, then says that she needs to check the front- she doesn't. When Cassie wakes up in evans house she notes that she was in different clothes before she ended up there. Then a boy at camp try's to get her to you know what. Cassie's friend even tells her to you know what with Ben. I would recommend this age because there is much much much romance and thoughts of you know what. I want to start out with what you just read above: for ages 14 and up. If your kid is a mature eleven year old that has not witnessed the death of anyone they know, this book is great. Overall this book was great, and I have recommended it to my mum. Cassie and Evan don't do it, but they do share a passionate kiss on a bed. Cassie loses her parents to the aliens, and her small preschool-age brother. If your kid has experienced the death of a family member, sensitive or under 12, they will probably be disturbed by this. This is violent, descriptions of bloody bodies and talk of soon death.
#THE 5TH WAVE SERIES MOVIE#
I have nearly finished the book and will watch the movie soon. I soon found it was about an alien invasion, not a zombie apocalypse. I bought this book thinking it was a zombie book. I love zombie stuff, and have since I read Max Brooks' Zombie survival guide. I am nine years old, but I am quite mature for my age, seen Twilight, The Hunger Games, World war Z, etc. Which Side of History?
